2026 Summer Specialty Show
Held with the San Joaquin KC on Saturday May 30, 2026. Our judge is Harold "Red" Tatro. Superintendent is MB-F & entries close on May 13th. Our Specialty week begins with the HANC Hound Group Show on Thursday [judge: Lou Guerrero], San Joaquin KC on Friday with judge Cindy Vogels, and wrapping up on Sunday with San Joaquin KC [judge: Lesley Hiltz]. All shows superintended by MB-F & all close on May 13th.

Whippets as Show Dogs
Conformation, otherwise known as dog showing, is a favorite activity for many whippet owners. In these events, qualified judges evaluate each dog, looking at structure, movement, and overall appearance, to determine which one is closest to the breed standard. Successful dogs can earn the title of CH (Champion), and champions may continue to compete for the Grand Champion title, group placements, and Best in Show.
