Fast CAT
Fast CAT is an AKC event where dogs of all breeds [even mixed breeds] chase a lure in a timed 100 yard dash. Did you ever want to know how fast Fido is? Come to Fast CAT and find out! Dogs are given 1 point for each MPH they run the 100 yards in, with small dogs having a 1.5 point or 2 point handicap, depending on their height at the shoulder. Once your dog gets 100 points, they earn the BCAT title. The DCAT title is earned at 500 points & the FCAT at 1000 points. As long as your dog enjoys the chase & has a good, reliable recall, they will enjoy Fast CAT.
