Fast CAT

Fast CAT is an AKC event where dogs of all breeds [even mixed breeds] chase a lure in a timed 100 yard dash. Did you ever want to know how fast Fido is? Come to Fast CAT and find out! Dogs are given 1 point for each MPH they run the 100 yards in, with small dogs having a 1.5 point or 2 point handicap, depending on their height at the shoulder. Once your dog gets 100 points, they earn the BCAT title. The DCAT title is earned at 500 points & the FCAT at 1000 points. As long as your dog enjoys the chase & has a good recall, they will enjoy Fast CAT.

Upcoming NCWFA Fast CAT Events
The NCWFA is holding two Fast CATs on Saturday February 4, 2023. Each event is limited to 55 dogs. Entries open on 1/4/2023. Entries filled on 1/17/2023.
